Home Digital Extra post More WestJet cross-country seats coming online

Demand on two cross-country routes by WestJet is driving an increase in capacity on those flights.

The airline is doubling its weekly flights from six to 12 effective April 19 through Oct. 27 on the Calgary-Houston route. Oil/gas industry traffic has increased as guests take advantage of WestJet’s low cost business travel option.

WestJet is also doubling the number of Kelowna-Toronto flights this summer from one flight per day to two per day, from May 19 through Oct. 8. This summer of Canada’s 150th birthday will be a busy cross-Canada travel season.
