Discover eight new worlds with Contiki’s GO WANDER

Contiki has unveiled GO WANDER, describing it as the biggest transformation in its more than 64-year history and the opening of a bold new chapter for the youth travel pioneer.
The first stage of a multi-year evolution, GO WANDER introduces eight Travel Worlds built around travellers’ personal interests, 76 new trips by the end of the year, including all-new destinations Fiji and the Maldives, and a new pricing model with lower rates across the portfolio.
Toni Ambler, Chief Customer Officer, Contiki, explained that: “GO WANDER is a reinvention of Contiki, inspired by the pioneering spirit that’s been part of our story from the start and reimagined for a new generation of young travellers.”
Ambler continued: “With 76 new trips, eight new travel worlds built around personal interests, and more ways to travel, we’re giving our travel agent partners more opportunities to match their clients with the right adventure – and young people more freedom to explore on their own terms. That spirit of discovery comes to life in our new digital experience, making it easier for agents and their clients to explore what’s on offer, find inspiration and turn personal interests into unforgettable travel experiences.”
GO WANDER reimagines Contiki for today’s young travellers as they are seeking diversified and unique travel experiences that can be shared. International travel appetite is only growing; across all surveyed markets, 18–34-year-olds took an average of 5.1 international trips over the past five years1, with three in four likely to consider a group trip for part of their next international trip, and almost six in 10 preferring a small group of 15 people or fewer.2
At the heart of the transformation is a new portfolio architecture that will ultimately span eight distinct Travel Worlds – giving travellers clearer, more inspiring ways to find experiences that match how they want to travel, including a host of new trips, greater variety across destinations, trip formats, group experiences, and price points:
- Contiki Local invites guests to travel like a local with small-group, immersive tours. Here, the must-sees are optional, giving travellers time and space to really explore. This is about the little trattorias, the nonnas, the gyros, and the lemon trees on the Cinque Terre.
- Contiki Originals are the iconic trips that made Contiki famous, from the original adventure company born in 1962. They are just as popular and relevant now as they’ve ever been.
- Contiki Highlights is all about seeing the best of the best. Contiki has hand-picked the most iconic experiences in its collection to offer all killer, no filler. Highlights are full of the unmissable greatest hits. It’s about seeing what matters, not ticking off a list.

- Contiki Lite is light on price and heavy on experience. Contiki believes travellers shouldn’t need to be rich to explore the world. So, these stripped-back trips are made affordable for smart travellers. Core memories at a core price.
- Contiki Outdoors traverses the most adventurous parts of the world. For those with a lifestyle built on action, Outdoors trips invite travellers to see the world as an activity, not a spectator sport.
- Contiki Islands is for travellers looking to soak up the salt, sea and sun on the world’s most beautiful islands, from Greece to Indonesia and the Maldives, and more.
- Contiki Festivals will give travellers exclusive access and experiences at some of the world’s leading music and culture festivals.
- Contiki Luxe is for those who appreciate the finer things in life. Luxe invites travellers to level up with a rare collection of signature luxury vacation experiences.
Contiki’s expanded offering also includes all-new destinations of Fiji and the Maldives plus new itineraries across India and Japan. Building on a nearly 29% increase in passenger travel to Asia between 2023 and 2026, the new experiences create more opportunities for cultural discovery and meaningful connections, with greater freedom to explore.
In response to ongoing cost-of-living pressures, Contiki has introduced a refreshed pricing model with lower everyday pricing across its portfolio, removing the need to wait for flash sales or limited-time promotions and making it easier for young people to prioritize travel.
To mark the launch, Contiki premieres On Contiki, directed by Australian filmmaker Gracie Otto. The vertical microdrama series, set in Costa Rica, follows four young travelers as they experience new adventures and the trials of newfound friendships. With the global microdrama market forecast to generate CAD $19.5 billion in revenue in 2026,⁵ short-form scripted content is rapidly emerging as one of the world’s fastest-growing entertainment formats.
