Downton Abbey Trip Up For Grabs

VisitBritain and partner DHTour want to send one lucky fan (and a guest) of Downton Abbey to Britain this August in the newly launched Dressing For Downton Contest being held in conjunction with the Canadian premiere of the Dressing For Downton Costume Exhibit at Spadina Museum in Toronto.

All you have to do is watch Downton Abbey on VisionTV, Wednesday nights at 10 p.m. ET, and after each episode go online at http://visiontv.ca/dressing-downton . There will be a question about something fashion- or style-related in each episode. Fill out the entry form that will be posted along with your answer to the weekly question and submit your entry for a chance to win. The contest runs through April 15.

Those who enter the contest have a chance to win a nine-day trip for two to England on DHTour’s Royal Residences and Castles Tour, including a visit to Highclere Castle, the filming location for Downton Abbey. Highlights of the tour include visits to Chatsworth, Windsor Castle and Buckingham Palace. The trip will take place from Aug. 11-22 and includes return air travel from Toronto.

The Dressing For Downton Costume Exhibit at Spadina Museum runs through April 13 and features some of the brilliant and beautiful costume designs previously worn on the hit TV show.
