Ensemble Travel Group has appointed Carl Schmitt as vice president, marketing, for the organization’s 850 member agencies in the U.S. and Canada.
Schmitt will be responsible for developing and executing a full suite of marketing programs and services for Ensemble members and its global network of preferred partners.
He brings close to 30 years of experience in global brand strategy, customer relationship management, and B2B sales and marketing to the key post, having served in senior management roles at PFP Services (credit union and life insurance provider), Dermatologic Cosmetic Laboratories (international physician B2B services), Constellation Management Group (strategic marketing – CVS Pharmacy), and Avon Products.
In this key Ensemble position, Schmitt will be responsible for creating an overall North American marketing strategy that balances the needs of both the organization’s members and travel partners, including all print and digital marketing initiatives.
In a cross-functional capacity, he will work closely with other departments to explore opportunities that drive shareholder growth and organizational efficiencies.
In addition, Schmitt and his team of 10 plus staff in the U.S. and Canada will create and implement marketing products and campaigns that showcase the expertise of Ensemble members as well as strengthen the overall Ensemble brand.
