EUROPE AIRPOST HAS HALIFAX ON ITS RADAR

French airline Europe Airpost has launched a series of scheduled flights departing from Halifax Stanfield International Airport to Glasgow and Paris‐Charles‐de‐Gaulle during the 2014 summer season. Weekly service will operate from July 4 to Aug. 29.

The schedule is as follows: Thursday, departs from Paris-CDG 1 p.m., arrives in Glasgow 1:40 p.m. Departs from Glasgow 2:30 p.m., arrives in Halifax p.m. Friday, departs from Halifax 10 a.m., arrives in Glasgow 8 p.m. Departs from Glasgow 8:50 p.m., arrives in Paris-CDG 11:30 p.m. Flights are aboard Boeing 737-700 aircraft, configured in a two-class lay-out, with a capacity of 128 seats: 24 in Premium Economy class and 104 in Economy class. Prices will start at $860 round trip, with all taxes and baggage fees included.

“The launch of this new route meets Europe Airpost strategy of diversification with the operation of a series of scheduled flights. The Boeing 737-700 aircraft of the company perfectly suits the needs of a summer transatlantic connection between Halifax, Glasgow and Paris,” said Jean-François Dominiak, CEO of Europe Airpost.
