Experience Turks and Caicos welcomes new tourism minister, Hon. Zhavargo Jolly
Experience Turks and Caicos has appointed the Honourable Zhavargo Jolly as the new Minister of Tourism, Agriculture, Fisheries, and the Environment for the Turks and Caicos Islands.
Hon. Jolly was appointed to the Cabinet on Feb. 12, 2025, following the General Elections on Feb. 7, in which the Progressive National Party (PNP) secured a decisive victory.
A seasoned entrepreneur, financial expert, and dedicated public servant, Hon. Jolly brings a wealth of experience to his ministerial role. Before entering politics, he served as the Managing Director of Turks and Caicos Islands Capital, a private investment and lending firm. His background in finance, business strategy, and economic development has equipped him with the expertise to drive sustainable growth in the country’s tourism industry.
“Leading the tourism sector is a responsibility I take very seriously,” said Jolly. “I look forward to working with the team at Experience Turks and Caicos to build a sustainable, high-value industry while solidifying our reputation as a premier global destination. In the coming months, I aim to strengthen relationships with stakeholders across the tourism sector, both regionally and in our key source markets.”
