FLYGTA Resumes Muskoka Flights

FLYGTA is set to resume daily flights from Billy Bishop City Airport (YTZ) to Muskoka Airport (YQA) this week with departures to and from Muskoka scheduled at 1:00 PM from Toronto and 2:00 PM from Gravenhurst with prices ranging from $129 to $159.

Chris Nowrouzi, CEO FLYGTA Airlines, said: “FLYGTA is excited to bring back another season of cottage travel, except this time, available for booking by travel agencies globally through the newly connected GDS programs.”

Len O’Connor, CEO Muskoka Airport, commented: “We are extremely pleased to welcome FLYGTA back to the Muskoka Airport for year-round flights.”

“The Board of Directors of YQA are thrilled to have FLYGTA coming back to Muskoka – summer is now here!!,” Muskoka Airport Board of Directors

The Muskoka announcement comes on the heels of a global rollout with GDS partners Travelport and Amadeus.

This marks the first time ever that an airline has been able to successfully distribute whole booked private jets and charter aircraft through a global distribution network of travel agents, saying goodbye to the complexities agents and consumers faced when booking through email and custom quote requests.

The first flights are expected to commence with 20 plus destinations from Toronto to Canadian, American, and Caribbean destinations with Montreal (YUL), and other departure points to be scheduled for July.

FLYGTA offers a selection of private charter flights available for instant booking from Toronto’s Pearson (YYZ) and Billy Bishop Airports (YTZ) to a select number of Canadian, US and Caribbean destinations and scheduled air taxi flights from Billy Bishop Airport (YTZ) to Niagara (YCM) Kingston (YGK) and Muskoka (YQA).
