FORMER YVR CEO NAMED TO ORDER OF BC

Former Vancouver Airport Authority CEO Larry Berg has recently been appointed to the Order of British Columbia. Berg was recognized for his work in leading the development of Vancouver Airport to its emergence as one of the world’s top airports. He was CEO of the authority for 15 years. Under his guidance, YVR became a significant economic generator for the province. Its finest hour was likely the 2010 Vancouver/Whistler winter Olympics/Paralympics, when the new Canada Line rapid transit train opened to greet thousands of visitors and athletes landing at YVR.
