Frank DeMarinis Says Farewell

About 150 travel trade types were on hand at TravelBrands’ offices at Dundas and Kipling in Toronto last night (June 19) to celebrate Frank DeMarinis, who is retiring after a stellar career of more than 40 years.

Along with his brothers — Joe and Enzo — there’s absolutely no doubt that over the past four decades, DeMarinis has certainly made his mark on the industry on both the retail and wholesale side of the business time and time again — and is truly an industry icon.

In his remarks, DeMarinis thanked both his staff and the industry for their support and congratulated Nathalie Tanious on her new role as the company’s CEO, observing that he is confident that the company is in good hands with Tanious at the helm.

As for DeMarinis’ plans for retirement, he told Press Today that he’s looking forward to taking on ‘grandparent duties’ and spending lots of time with his family.

From all of us at Baxter Media, we wish you a happy retirement … all the best, Frank.
