Fred. Olsen extends ‘all-inclusive’ drinks offer

Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines, represented in Canada by GLP Worldwide Expedition Travel and Tours, is introducing for the first time an “all-inclusive”drinks package on it 2013/14 cruise programs. According to officials, the move is a reflection of the growth of the “all-inclusive”holiday market as well as the huge success of its “all-inclusive”drinks package on four limited availability 2013 Canary Islands fly-cruises. The package launched earlier in the year and sold out three times as quickly as cruises without this add-on. Fred Olsen is now extending the offer to guests booking by Sept. 30 for all cruise departures on, or after, April 6, 2013 and featured in its “2013/14 Worldwide Cruises”brochure (excluding the 2014 Balmoral and Black Watch “Grand Voyages”and their sectors, and full-charter Boudicca cruise JMGD1321). Passengers will automatically qualify for a free upgrade to an “all-inclusive”drinks package, including beers, wine, spirits and soft drinks. The offer is limited to the first 100 bookings per sailing taken between now and Sept. 30. “Canadians are very accustomed to the ‘all-inclusive’ idea and we know that many are on a tight budget in this challenging economic climate, and with this ‘all-inclusive’ drinks package, this 2013/14 cruise program is even better value for money,”says Patrick Tsung, president of GLP Worldwide Expedition Travel and Tours.
