G Adventures On Sri Lanka

“Following the attacks in Sri Lanka on April 21, 2019, G Adventures can confirm all our travellers and staff in the country are safe and accounted for. All trips have been rerouted to avoid Colombo and our groups have been advised to exercise caution,” the company said in a statement.

As a result of elevated travel warnings in a number of countries, the tour company has made the decision to cancel all departures in Sri Lanka up to and including April 30, 2019.

Travellers have the option to transfer to an alternative tour, or to cancel their tour and receive a full refund.

Our next scheduled departure is on June 23, 2019.

G Adventures’ founder, Bruce Poon Tip, stated that any attack on our religious institutions is an attack on all of us, regardless of faith.

“We cannot allow this wave of division to further separate humanity. We must use this tragic loss to unite us. It’s my belief that compassion for all people, combined with an understanding of different backgrounds, religions and cultures, has the potential to be the fastest path to peace,” Poon Tip said.

Travellers with tours in Sri Lanka booked beyond April 30, 2019 who wish to postpone their tour to a later date or alternative destination may do so with no change fees. Customers who need to make alternative travel arrangements should contact their travel agent or G Adventures’ sales team by telephone or email:
