Cuba’s Gaviota Group – which has hotels and other tourist offerings – is inviting its most important partners to take part in the first Gaviota Destinations 2018 Tourism Trade Fair, which will run Oct. 3-7.
During the event, participants will learn more about new hotel openings and recent product updates, strengthening bonds and sharing views on development prospects. Jardines del Rey will be the star of the show, with its natural attractions and tourism infrastructure making it one of the most important destinations in Cuba today.
Oct. 3 sees participants depart to Cayo Coco. Accommodation is at the Playa Coco, Pestana Cayo Coco, Iberostar Playa Pilar, Memories Flamenco, Melia Jardines del Rey and Grand Muthu Cayo Guillermo Hotels. There’s a welcome cocktail at 7 pm.
Oct. 4 has the presentation of points of interest for the high season and updates on Gaviota products throughout the country. There’s also a workshop with the hotel chains working with the Gaviota Tourism Group and the companies Gaviota Tours, Marinas Gaviota, Transgaviota and AT Comercial. Dinner is at the hotel.
Oct. 5 features visits to sites of interest, a night of awards and farewell activity with a Cuban carnival. Oct. 6 has participants travel by bus to Havana. Accommodation is at Iberostar Grand Hotel Packard. Oct. 7 will have participants visit Habaguanex Hotels located in the historical centre of Havana, a Heritage of Mankind. There’s also a visit to the Gran Manzana Kempinski Hotel. Closing dinner is at the Iberostar Grand Hotel Packard.
