GBTA Convention Going One-On-One With Boeing CEO

The Global Business Travel Association (GBTA) has released details of a special one-on-one session in its line-up of Convention Arena content for GBTA Convention 2019, set for Aug. 3 to Aug. 7 in Chicago.

Boeing chairman, president and CEO Dennis Muilenburg will take the stage on Aug. 5, during the Convention Arena luncheon with GBTA chief operating officer and executive director, Scott Solombrino for a discussion that will include the Boeing 737 MAX, the future of business travel and mobility.

Christle Johnson, GBTA president, said that: “Boeing has long been a cornerstone of the business travel industry. Our audience will undoubtedly be interested in and looking forward to hearing directly from Dennis about the future of Boeing.”

Muilenburg oversees the strategic direction of Chicago-based Boeing. With more than 150,000 employees worldwide, Boeing is the world’s largest aerospace company, top U.S. exporter, and leading provider of commercial airplanes, defense, space and security systems, and global services.

Held at the McCormick Place in Chicago, GBTA Convention 2019 will bring together over 7,000 business travel professionals from more than 50 countries across the globe.
