Get Your Adventure On at Ontario Place

In the midst of long-term development, Ontario Place is reminding travellers that the park is still open for business with choose your “ON-venture,” a series of activations throughout the summer.

Ontario Place has much in store for visitors this summer. Zen out with free weekends and monthly sunset yoga classes in Trillium Park, or take a spin in a kayak or paddle boat at Lake Shore Boat rentals. Or, hop on a segway adventure courtesy of Go Tours Canada or take advantage of the recreational activities including life size chess, table tennis and imagination playground, foam blocks for kids to build and create.

Through Sept. 30, the Cinesphere presents a director’s series and will be bringing Apollo 11 IMAX to the screen providing guests with an immersive one-of-a-kind IMAX experience. In addition, Cirque Du Soleil will be making East Island its home from September to December, presenting Alegria.

In search of a culinary adventure? The West Island will host some of Toronto’s favourite food and drink festivals. Vista Eatery is back offering live jazz on Sunday afternoons. For those looking to pick up a quick snack or have a picnic in the park, Fork-in-the-Road offers a variety of on-the-go snack options.

Entrance to the park is free and open from 5 a.m. to midnight with many of the activities operating between 10 a.m. and 11 p.m.
