GLOBUS EXPANDS ASIA OFFERINGS

Globus has released details of its 2014 tours to China, Japan, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Australia, New Zealand and Fiji, featuring a variety of options from Local Favorite experiences to VIP access into must-see sights.

In Asia, Globus is unveiling a new 11-day Treasures of China vacation. On this tour, travellers will experience Beijing, Xi’an, Guilin, Shanghai and Suzhou, including such must-see sights as the Forbidden City, Imperial Palace, Tian’anmen Square and Terracotta Warriors. Beyond the must-see sights, Globus includes Chinese Local Favorites, such as a Hutong tour by rickshaw, cruising on the tranquil Li River and a hands-on demonstration of the tea-making process followed by a tea ceremony at a local tea farm.

Travellers interested in experiencing the diversity of Australia will want to look at Globus’ new 14-day G’Day Australia trip. This leisurely tour features four-night stays in Sydney and Melbourne, allowing for included sightseeing and ample free time. Cairns and Adelaide won’t disappoint either with such Local Favorites as a guided “dreamtime walk” through the rainforest with an indigenous guide and an excursion to Kangaroo Island. In addition, Fiji is back with an optional three-night extension at a popular beach resort in Nadi.

In Asia, most Globus tours are part of the company’s Small Group Discovery (SG) series, a program that allows for no more than 20 travellers on a tour, giving them the chance for more personalized service and unique experiences. For those interested in travelling independently, Globus’ sister brand, Monograms, offers 125 itineraries to explore and experience the best of Japan, China, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, India, Nepal, Australia and New Zealand.

Early Booking Incentive: To further entice travellers, Globus has some early booking offers available when booking and placing a deposit on numerous holidays between Aug. 14 and Oct. 1 for travel any time next year. Book any Asia air-inclusive holiday and receive a $200 p.p. air credit; $250 when flying on United Airlines on selected itineraries. Or save $300 p.p. on any air-inclusive trip to Australia or New Zealand. (http://www.globusjourneys.ca , http://www.monogramstravel.ca)
