Globus Makes It A Breeze

More and more Canadian travel agents are discovering the convenience and ease of booking air-inclusive tours and cruises with the Globus family of brands (Globus, Cosmos, Monograms and Avalon Waterways).

So much so that air-inclusive bookings are up over 20% this year.

Stéphanie Bishop, managing director/Canada for the Globus family, observed: “It just makes your life so much easier. Not only do we offer competitive fares with a selection of sked carriers and guaranteed pricing once under deposit, but we will also handle sked changes on your behalf.”

The company offers two options for flight bookings:

  • Flex Air, which uses contracts with multiple air vendors and flexibility for any air changes, subject to airline-imposed fees. Flex Air is commissionable at 5% and there’s no service charge.
  • The Instant Purchase Air option is non-commissionable and subject to a fee between $50 and $80 per person but features more affordable fares.

Both fare types include airport transfers on Globus family product published/brochure dates.

Said Bishop: “We can also deal with stopover requests, upgrades, deviations and even requests outside of 330 days prior to departure. All in all, for ease of transaction and time efficiency, our air desk is more and more the go-to option of choice for agents.”
