Globus offers agents 70% off war memorial trip

Globus is offering a special 70% discount to agents on the first War Memorial Tour of the season, departing April 4. The 11-day escorted coach tour of Northern France and London includes visits to Paris, Juno Beach, the Canadian Cemetery at Dieppe, Vimy Ridge, the Canadian War Memorial in London and the famed Cabinet War Rooms. Transportation between France and England will be by cross channel ferry to the iconic White Cliffs of Dover. As an added bonus, Canadian military historian Tom Douglas will travel with the group to provide many insights into the tour. Regularly priced at $2,760 (excluding air), the $828 agent rate is offered to agents and one travelling companion. “This is a very moving and interesting tour for anyone with an interest in history,”says Kim Clarke, director of sales for the Globus family of brands. “And taking it will provide a wonderful opportunity for agents to promote our other War Memorial tours later this year and in future.”Interested agents can access the travel agent discount request form at http://www.agentlingo.ca under “Travel Agent Handbook.”
