GLP Offers Exclusive New Paddlewheel Cruise

GLP Worldwide is giving travellers a chance to discover two of Europe’s most fascinating capitals – Berlin and Prague – while sailing on the new MS Elbe Princesse.

The 80-passenger ship utilizes the most advanced paddle wheel technology allowing access in as little as three feet of water. GLP Worldwide has chartered a fully escorted exclusive sailing Oct. 3-18, 2018.

Passengers will board the boat in Berlin and depart in Prague. All passengers will have options for any pre- or post-cruise tours at their leisure. Main deck staterooms are priced at $4,980 and Upper Deck staterooms are $5,290. Prices are per person based on two people sharing a double/twin stateroom. There are a limited number of single staterooms available upon request.

Tour highlights include tour of Berlin Wall, Check-point Charlie, Brandenburg Gate, Holocaust Memorial, Potsdamer Platz Square, boulevard Unter den Linden, Berlin Cathedral, Museum Island, Reichstag building, Kurfürstendamm Boulevard, Bellevue Palace and more; visit lesser known Magdeburg on the Elbe River and historic Roman baths before arriving at the next stop in Wittenberg for a guided tour of Martin Luther’s house, Reformation Museum and now a UNESCO World Heritage Site; porcelain lovers will enjoy visiting Meissen famous for its trademarked porcelain; Dresden, and a tour of the Elbe Sandstone Museum and then the Königstein Fortress, one of Europe’s most imposing and largest hilltop fortresses. Cruise on to Saxon Switzerland before heading into the Czech Republic and a stop in Litomerice; final stop is Prague with a visit to its charming Old Town.
