Insight Vacations held a dinner event for the industry last night (Nov. 17) celebrating the launch of its 2016-17 Europe & Britain Premium program in partnership with Tourism Ireland.

The collection features four new itineraries, including Easy Pace Spain, which stops in Barcelona, San Sebastian and Madrid, and a Northern Italy tour, with visits to Venice, the Dolomites, Milan and Lake Maggiore.

“We are always looking to add new products, new itineraries and new destinations,” Carla Brake, VP sales, Insight Vacations told PressToday. “In Europe it’s getting a little more difficult for us because we pretty much have everything covered there when we travel to over 40 different countries. So what we like to look at is new routes to take.”

With a lineup of more than 90 signature hotels, guests can stay in properties like Ashford Castle in Ireland, recently voted the world’s No.1 hotel by Virtuoso, available through the 9-day Irish Elegance itinerary.

Another new initiative for 2016 are relaxed starts – where coaches don’t depart the hotel until at least after 9 a.m., which will be included on multiple days on various itineraries in the premium brochure.

“It gives our guests a little bit more of an opportunity to enjoy the wonderful hotels that we’re staying at, maybe have a more leisurely breakfast or for those who are very active to get out and enjoy a morning walk or head to the beach,” she says.
