Goldstein Appointed CTC President

David Goldstein has been appointed president and chief executive officer of the Canadian Tourism Commission (CTC), effective Dec. 1.

Goldstein is currently the president and chief executive officer of the Tourism Industry Association of Canada (TIAC). In this capacity, he was one of the key architects of the Federal Tourism Strategy with Industry Canada.

The CTC is Canada’s national tourism marketing organization.

“I would like to welcome Mr. Goldstein in his new role as president and chief executive officer of the Canadian Tourism Commission. His experience as president and CEO of the Tourism Industry Association of Canada, coupled with his leadership efforts to help outline the Federal Tourism Strategy with Industry Canada, will be of great value to the Canadian Tourism Commission,” said Maxime Bernier, Minister of State, Small Business and Tourism, and Agriculture.
