GOOD KARMA RATES FOR BEACH CLEANERS

Those who want to do their part in cleaning up the growing debris on BC’s west coast, resulting from the Japan tsunami in 2011, can join volunteers in a beach clean-up effort on May 10-12. And they can get a reduced rate at the Long Beach Lodge Resort by doing so. It is offering a reduced rate of $160 (double occupancy) to volunteers who need accommodations for the weekend. They will help teams from Clayoquot Wilderness Resort and the Ahousaht First Nation clean up tsunami debris that is washing up on the beaches around Clayoquot Sound, on the west coast of Vancouver Island.
