Good vibes from Jamaica’s 2026 summer campaign

The Jamaica Tourist Board (JTB) has launched its Jamaica Summer Vibes 2026 campaign — a destination-wide initiative running through Aug. 31, 2026 that celebrates the island’s lineup of summer festivals, sporting events, cultural celebrations, culinary experiences and entertainment offerings.

Jamaica Summer Vibes encourages travellers from around the world to explore the destination’s iconic beaches, attractions, nightlife, and local communities, creating a complete destination experience that extends beyond any single festival or celebration.

Jamaica’s Minister of Tourism, Edmund Bartlett said that: “Summer in Jamaica is unlike anywhere else in the world. From world-class sporting events and internationally renowned festivals to our rich cultural celebrations and culinary traditions, Jamaica offers travellers an opportunity to experience the very best of the Caribbean. Through the Jamaica Summer Vibes campaign, we are inviting visitors to be part of these unforgettable moments and create memories that will last a lifetime.”

  • Dream Weekend, Montego Bay (July 30–August 3)
  • Best Weekend Ever (August 6-10)
  • MoBay Jerk & Food Festival, Montego Bay (August 1)
  • Come Alive Collective Worship Event, Kingston (August 1)
  • Emancipation Day Celebrations (August 1)
  • Independence Day Celebrations (August 6)
  • Best Weekend Ever, Ocho Rios (August 6–10)
  • Caribbean Premier League (CPL) Cricket, Kingston (August 11–18)
  • AnimeCom Fest, Kingston (August 15–16)
  • Pan American Men’s Lacrosse Championship, Kingston (August 16–23)
  • Amalgamation: The Global Gala, Kingston (August 28–30)
  • Lover’s Leap Lighthouse Series, South Coast (August 28)
