Goway Celebrates ‘Down Under Months’

goway-small-Oct8

It’s that time of the year again as Goway staffers don kangaroo suits, etc., to promote Down Under Months (October and November).

This year, Asia has been added to the list with promotional deals in effect for the likes of Tahiti, Fiji, the Cook Islands, Malaysia, Bali and Thailand, as well as Australia and New Zealand.

Goway BDMs are calling in travel agencies across the country promoting the destinations and Goway’s deals there, as well as issuing rewards to agents. For example, if the tour operator rep finds Goway’s three brochures – Downunder, Asia and Idyllic Islands – displayed, they’ll leave treats for the staff.

Various other booking incentives, including a chance to win a trip to Fiji and visa reward cards, are available.

Goway’s consumer promotions range from family vacations to small group tours, boutique cruises, honeymoons and much more, with a special shout out to winter long-stays.

A sample 28-night stay in Australia, for example, starts at $4,099 including airfare and two free nights. In the Cook Islands, four free nights and a black pearl pendant ($500 value) are included.
Goway’s Aubrey Schmidt notes that the weather is ideal (it’s summer in the southern hemisphere) and insurance that includes pre-existing conditions – a boon for the senior clientele most likely to have the time to take advantage of the offer – is included in Australia.
