Goway Introduces Iceland

Goway-Iceland-April28

For the past 44 years, Goway has been sending travellers to some of the world’s most interesting and exotic destinations. Always looking to expand its horizons, Goway now offers Iceland, an increasingly popular choice for a holiday, or as a stopover, en route to Europe with Icelandair.

“Iceland is nature at its best, and it’s all concentrated in a small country that makes it easy to experience,” says Karl Kannstadter, general manager for Goway’s Latin America program, who travelled to Iceland recently. “Millions of birds, thousands of waterfalls, hundreds of hot springs, and 15 active volcanoes. The midnight sun in summer and the northern lights in winter. Where else can you find all of those things together?”

He noted that most of the population speaks English, plus it’s easy to get around, and the food is fantastic. Iceland is also easily accessible, with Icelandair flights from many major North American gateways.

Goway offers three group tour itineraries, and two self-drive itineraries for the 2014 season, as well as three- and four-day Reykjavik stopovers, for those travelling to and from Europe.

To promote its newest destination, Goway is offering a free tour of the Blue Lagoon Geothermal Spa on bookings on any of their 2014 summer trips.
