Goway Invites Travellers to Spend a Night on the Reef

Goway is inviting travellers to enjoy Australia’s first underwater accommodation, on the incomparable Great Barrier Reef.

Guests will have the unique opportunity to stay overnight at Reefworld, overlooking part of the world’s largest underwater eco system, for the ultimate reef encounter.

Moored at Hardy Reef, 40 nautical miles from Airlie Beach on the Central Queensland coast, Reefworld is a popular option with reef-bound day-trippers from the Whitsundays. Once the day-trippers return to the shore however, a fortunate few will remain for an on-deck Reefsleep experience, or an overnight stay in one of Reefworld’s private, all-inclusive Reefsuites.

The Reefsuite experience includes a return cruise from Airlie Beach, Hamilton Island, or Daydream Island, premium king or twin accommodation below sea level with en-suite bathroom and private glass view, marine activities onboard Reefworld’s newly refurbished pontoon, plus all meals and non-alcoholic beverages.

Guests opting for the Reefsleep experience will instead enjoy a fully inclusive stay, sleeping under the stars in custom designed Reefbeds, which are converted to sun lounges for the guest’s daytime use. Rates start at $731 p.p., twin share.
