Goway names Moore as CEO, marking a new chapter for Founder Bruce Hodge

Just one year after joining Goway as Chief Operating Officer, Dean Moore has been named Goway’s new Chief Executive Officer, just a year after joining the company as its Chief Operating Officer.

In his short tenure, Moore has delivered double-digit growth, significantly streamlined operations, and transformed technology systems.

Now, as the company’s CEO, Moore will now lead all Goway’s North American operations, as well as a new portfolio comprising subsidiary companies Across Australia (Sydney) and INA Prime (Manila).

Moore joined Goway in 2025 while the company was celebrating its 55th Anniversary following a thriving period of sustained growth. He has spent 25 years in the global travel space having worked in the UK, continental and northern Europe, the US, and Canada.

Moore has held senior executive positions including Executive Director of Transformation at MyTravel Group, COO and CEO of Thomas Cook’s North American division, and COO and CEO of itravel2000, one of Canada’s most recognizable travel brands.

With Goway, he quickly demonstrated his proven track record of innovation and operational excellence.

In making the announcement, Bruce Hodge, Goway’s Founder & President, said: “Dean shares my ambitious vision for Goway as the leading tailor-made travel company for globetrotters.”

And Hodge continued: “He has helped move the needle dramatically through his tenacious leadership and rigorous commitment to driving results. Our leadership board and I feel we have found exactly the person to propel Goway into the future.”

As CEO, Moore will maintain momentum on many ambitious projects with the vision of delivering exceptional experiences for all Goway’s communities — globetrotting travellers, travel advisors, partners, and team members.

Central to Moore’s approach is technological innovation which will power these projects as Goway makes further significant investments in industry-leading, proprietary systems. Underpinning these plans is a parallel investment in the company’s teams and culture, cementing its reputation as a people-first business that provides exceptional service and personalization. Fueling these ambitions is a drive for significant scale for all Goway’s divisions and companies.

Commenting on his appointment, Moore said: “In a very short time I’ve been incredibly impressed by the passion, dedication, and performance of Goway’s teams around the globe. It’s truly our people that will define our success in this era of technological change. It’s a privilege to continue leading Goway on our journey as the leader in tailor-made travel.”

A new chapter for Goway’s Founder and President Bruce Hodge

Bruce Hodge will remain as President and Chairman and continue to oversee Goway’s subsidiary corporate travel division, Globespan Travel Management.

Hodge also intends to devote more time to philanthropy and defining Goway’s legacy. His first storytelling project, Tales from the Road, is now live on www.Goway.com.

Through a new written story released each month, he will explore Goway’s origins and his 55+ years of globetrotting.
