Grand Velas Unveils Billionaire’s Wedding Package

Mexico’s Grand Velas Resorts is rolling out the red carpet for the world’s most elite couples ready to tie the knot.

The Billionaire’s Wedding Package starts at US$2.5 million for up to 100 guests at either the AAA Five Diamond Resort in Riviera Maya or Riviera Nayarit. The package, which includes a “glamour squad” to ensure the bride-to-be is always looking on fleek, is also available to book in 2017 and beyond at the Grand Velas Los Cabos, opening later this year.

Upon arrival at the destination, attendees are presented with cool towels scented in the couple’s signature scent and then whisked to the resort via private luxury vehicles. At the luxury resort the couple and their guests are treated to a mini head and neck massage to remove any last minutes stress prior to the start of a multi-day affair. Personal concierges then whisk attendees to their suites, each over 1,000 sq. ft., where custom welcome gifts, tequila service and drawn baths await.

As evening rolls around, the Fiesta Blanca gets started, complete with elegant white décor, gourmet hors d’oeuvres, premium beverages, native dancers and a performance from a special musical guest. Gavin Degraw, Demi Lovato, Lenny Kravitz, Kelly Clarkson, Meghan Trainor and Diana Ross are among the possible options for the music act, based on the couple’s
preference.

When it comes to the main event the following day, everything is taken care of from a custom-designed dress by Michael Costello – who’s dressed celebrities from Ciara and Beyonce to Jennifer Lopez and Lady Gaga – to a multi-tiered sugar flower creation. A First Dance Experience with professional ballroom dancer and Dancing with the Stars alum Karina Smirnoff includes her travel in advance of the big day for choreography and rehearsals. Custom wedding bands, a band, engraved flatware for each place setting with the couple’s new monogram, custom table linens, officiant and
oversized flower walls are also included.

Fireworks and a top DJ keep the after-party going until sunrise. Top wedding photographers and their cinematographer counterpart will be in attendance to capture it all.

While guests have to shell out for their own airfare, the couple is treated to round-trip private jet transportation from anywhere in the US.
