GWS Moves Summit From Hong Kong To Singapore

The Global Wellness Summit (GWS) is moving its 2019 event from Hong Kong to Singapore.

In announcing the move, GWS’ chairman and CEO, Susie Ellis wrote: “In 13 years of planning the Global Wellness Summit, this is a first for me. After careful consideration, we have decided to move the 2019 Summit from Hong Kong to Singapore.”

Ellis notes that: “Thankfully, we are an agile team. And our partners at Hyatt, the host sponsor for the Summit, are agile as well. So, we have pivoted, and we are excited that we will be welcoming delegates to the stunning Grand Hyatt Singapore, located in the heart of one of the world’s most spectacular cities.”

The Summit dates remain the same – Oct. 15 to Oct. 17 – so as a result, those who have already registered, won’t need to re-arrange their calendars.

She writes: “If you have not yet reserved your seat as a delegate, perhaps because you have been worried about traveling to Hong Kong, you may now register without concern.”

And Ellis continues: “In the coming days, you will receive additional information about plans for Singapore, but rest assured, it will be one of the most exciting and important Summits in our history, with an agenda designed to provide the information and knowledge delegates need to succeed in the rapidly changing business of wellness.”

Ellis concludes: “Asia is a critically important region for business and wellness, and Singapore is a storied destination, a financial centre, and a safe and exciting home for the 2019 Global Wellness Summit.”
