Happy Travel Agent Day 2025 from Baxter Media
Today, the first Wednesday in May, marks Travel Agent Day, a day of appreciation for the travel trade and the hard work they do day in and day out.
To mark and celebrate this occasion, since 2016 we’ve been highlighting remarkable travel advisors across the industry in Canada for our annual Travel Agent Appreciation combined issue of Travel Courier and Canadian Travel Press.
As soon as travel advisors find out they’ve been nominated, one of the first questions we get asked is, “who nominated me?” Well, what makes the Travel Agent Appreciation edition stand out is that all the agents featured are nominated by their industry peers and colleagues — BDMs and supplier partners who work with travel advisors on a day to day basis.

While we first launched the Travel Agent Appreciation issue nine years ago, in 2021 Baxter Media debuted the Travel Agent and Beyond Award, honouring one of the nominees from the edition with some extra recognition. This year’s Travel Agent and Beyond Award winner will be announced in the May 22nd edition of Travel Courier.
