Hawaii Tourism Conference ready set for August

The 2012 Hawaii Tourism Conference is the premier educational and networking event for Hawaii’s visitor industry and stakeholders to focus, learn and collaborate on efforts to sustain Hawaii’s tourism economy. It is being held by the Hawaii Tourism Authority (HTA) Aug. 23-24 at the Hawaii Convention Center in Honolulu. After a few years of uncertainty, Hawaii’s tourism economy is maintaining its momentum with increases in arrivals and visitor spending from domestic and international markets. This year’s conference theme “E Ku i ka Moku: Together We Will Succeed”will bring stakeholders together to focus on sustaining a vibrant community and tourism economy for all of Hawaii. The sessions will explore current and future market trends and conditions, explore opportunities, assemble new partners and unveil global tourism marketing and promotional activities for 2013. The registration fee is US$175 p.p. and includes all educational sessions, breakfasts, lunch and reception. Group rates are also available for companies registering three or more employees, at US$165 p.p.
