HAZELTON READY FOR TIFF

The Hazelton Hotel’s preparations for the 2013 Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) are in full swing and if last year’s festival was any indication, this year will see further increases in hotel demand. Nancy Munzar Kelly, general manager of The Hazelton Hotel, said: “We are anticipating a strong turnout for this year’s festival. Toronto’s Yorkville area remains the place to be for Hollywood’s “A” list, both on-screen and behind-the-scenes.” TIFF, which runs from Sept. 5 to Sept. 15, is considered second only to Cannes, witnesses scores of high-profile stars, film critics and producers descending on the city to attend film previews and mingle with their admirers. But the essence of the festival is the business side, where scores of distribution and license arrangements are completed during the 10-day festival. “Throughout the year, our guests are reassured of flawless service as well as complete privacy and anonymity,” Munzar Kelly said, “However, while we cannot tell you who is staying with us, we can show you some of the coveted suites where Hollywood’s “A” list are staying.” Check it out at http://www.thehazeltonhotel.com .
