Trafalgar has released its new 2016 “Hidden Journeys” brochure offering guided vacations to “hard-to-reach and less-visited destinations” in groups of no more than 26 guests.

Featuring 16 itineraries to Europe, North, South and Central America and Asia, travellers are invited to enjoy more unusual and authentic experiences off the beaten track. The program offers guests numerous value-added inclusions including daily breakfast, an average of 50% of evening meals, VIP access and front-of-the-line access at major sites, free WiFi on their motor coaches and free airport transfers on most vacations.

“If you’ve already travelled to a destination, but want to get to a place that’s a little harder to reach, our Hidden Journeys guided vacations are what you’re looking for,” says Wolf Paunic, president of Trafalgar Canada. “Clients travelling on a Hidden Journey’s trip will still enjoy Trafalgar’s Insider Experiences, an expert Travel Director and hand-picked four- or five-star accommodations, all in groups of no more than 26.”

New for 2016 are five guided vacations to the US, Canada, Costa Rica and Myanmar.

In Canada, the tour operator is offering the “Secrets of Rockies and Glacier National Park with Calgary Stampede Option” tour. The glaciers, national parks and laid-back cities of western Canada are just some of the highlights of this 10-day adventure into places like Calgary, Lake Louise, Whistler, Jasper and Banff. Another highlight is the “Be My Guest” farewell dinner where guests take a horse drawn hayride and set out on one of the scenic trails to the Guinn family ranch.

Other journeys include the nine-day “Natural Wonders of Costa Rica” tour, “Secrets of Panama and Costa Rica” and “Secrets of Myanmar.”
