Hilton Worldwide continues growth in Mexico
Hilton Worldwide has signed two management agreements to operate a Hilton Garden Inn hotel in Queretaro and a Hampton Inn by Hilton property in San Juan del Rio – both in the state of Queretaro, Mexico. Scheduled to open in Q3 and Q4 2012 respectively, the addition of these hotels will bring the total number of Hilton Worldwide properties operating in Mexico to 27. Strategically located just a block from the main highway to Mexico City, guests of the Hilton Garden Inn Queretaro will find themselves just 10 minutes from key industrial parks and the historic centre, two minutes from shopping and dining areas, and approximately 15 miles from the international airport. The four-storey hotel is scheduled to open in Q3 after a conversion process and will feature 102 rooms, a full service restaurant and bar, the 24-hour Pavilion Pantry shop, meeting space and a 24-hour business centre. The new build Hampton Inn by Hilton San Juan del Rio in Queretaro, offering 92 rooms, will be located approximately 48 km miles from the international airport and in the centre of the city’s most important industrial zone, with renowned brands’ corporate offices nearby. With an anticipated opening in Q4 2012, guests will have access to meeting space and the brand’s signature features such as free breakfast, free high-speed Internet access and a stylish lobby with a zoned environment providing the ideal facilities for working, mingling or relaxing.
