As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to dominate the hearts and minds of our industry, Baxter Media has decided to hit the pause button on its Agents’ Choice 2020 program.
“While most of the travel agent community had voted prior to COVID-19 taking over, there are some who didn’t get the chance to have their say,” said Wendy McClung, Executive VP, Operations at Baxter Media. “The Agents’ Choice program – survey, issue, and gala – is a celebration of our Canadian travel industry, and we want to hit pause until a time when the industry is back on track and we can all celebrate together.”
Here’s what that will look like…
The Agents’ Choice Readership Survey will close temporarily as scheduled on April 3, 2020. However, for those who have not had the chance to vote for their 2020 favourites, the survey will re-open for two weeks prior to the production of the special Agents’ Choice Results Issue. The most-anticipated issue of the year, the Agents’ Choice Results Issue will now be published in the fall of 2020. As well, the Agents’ Choice Gala will not take place as scheduled on June 18, 2020, instead, is being postponed.
