The Saint Lucia Tourism Authority (SLTA) recently hosted a luxury themed FAM for eight top-performing agents from Alberta, Manitoba, Quebec, and Ontario.
All participants were top producing “Saint Lucia Expert” (SLEx) agents. SLEx is an innovative online educational and loyalty program designed to engage travel agents and serve as their central source for resources that enable them to sell Saint Lucia to Canadian clients.
While in Saint Lucia, the group was hosted by island top health and wellness properties — The Body Holiday and Stonefield Villa Resort.
The itinerary showcased sites and activities at the aforementioned properties with an in-depth look at some of the island’s top luxury accommodations, including Serenity at Coconut Bay, Jade Mountain, Anse Chastanet, Ladera Resort, Sugar Beach – A Viceroy Resort, Marigot Bay Resort and Spa, The Landings, Calabash Cove and Cap Maison.
The five-day luxury FAM was tailored specifically for travel agents to experience Saint Lucia’s luxury collection first-hand.
As a group, they visited the town of Soufriere to see the iconic twin peaks – Pitons, in addition to visiting the Sulphur Springs Volcano & Mud Baths. Just north of Rodney Bay the group attended the legendary Gros Islet Friday night Jump up. Partygoers mix with locals to enjoy barbecued street food, spiced rums, and the deep basslines of local sound systems well into the morning.
