Insight goes ‘easy’ in Europe

Insight Vacations is offering travellers extra time to discover and savour Europe with their Easy Pace Journeys.

These five itineraries are tailor-made for a leisurely vacation where travellers can discover the treasures of France, Italy, Eastern Europe, Russia, Turkey and Greece, including a variety of Insight’s Signature Experiences. With a minimum of three-night stays, clients will have more time to linger in each destination and explore on their own.

The 13-day Easy Pace journey through Turkey and Greece showcases land excursions and cruising. In Istanbul, clients enjoy the city sights, beginning with the iconic Blue Mosque with its blue tiles adorning the walls of its interior. They also visit the museum of Hagia Sophia; once a church and later a mosque, this landmark was once the greatest church in Christendom. Passengers then board a cruise on the Louis Lines and sail to the Turkish and Greek Isles.

History lovers will enjoy Kusadasi with time to explore Ephesus, one of the world’s best archeological sites. The next port of call is Santorini, famous for its scenic caldera views dotted with the ocean blue domes of the local churches and whitewashed buildings. The cruise continues on to Crete with an optional excursion to visit the opulent Palace of King Minos and then to the next port of call, Mykonos with its maze of walkways, winding streets and vibrant nightlife. Clients spend their final days in Athens with a walking tour to the Acropolis and the Parthenon.
