Israel, TravelBrands Sign Marketing Deal

The Israel Ministry of Tourism and TravelBrands have signed a year-long marketing agreement to develop an impactful campaign focused on promoting tourism to Israel from Canada.

The new project will focus on positioning Israel as “a dynamic destination that caters to all tourism segments” such cultural tourism, MICE (meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions), adventure tourism, culinary tourism and heritage tourism.

The agreement was signed by Gal Hana, Consul, director of Tourism for Canada and Frank Demarinis, CEO & president of TravelBrands.

Commenting on the new deal, Hana said: “I am excited to sign this agreement with one of Canada’s largest and most innovative travel groups. This agreement represents the next step forward to spearhead and increase tourism and travel to Israel from Canada following these unprecedented times. We are continuing to focus on the future of a strong tourism market that will help reinvigorate the industry.”

Through the new partnership, TravelBrands will develop a comprehensive campaign aimed at promoting Israel across various sectors of the Canadian travel industry. This will be accomplished through various means including, but not limited to, digital advertising, OOH campaigns and e-mail marketing.

TravelBrands’ Demarinis noted that: “Israel is a one of the hottest destinations in the Middle East and has continued to show record-breaking tourism numbers year over year. We are delighted to be working with the Israel Ministry of Tourism to amplify their reach in the Canadian travel and tourism industry and look forward to kicking off our partnership when the world opens to travel once again.”
