It’s All About Growth
“You’ll see a theme in what I’m saying,” says Amr Younes. “It’s growth, growth, growth.”
The VP of sales for Air Canada Vacations is reflecting on the past year and the one ahead, the intersection of which marks the 35th anniversary of the tour operator, reports editor Michael Baginski in this week’s digital edition of Travel Courier.
“It has been an incredible 35 years for Air Canada Vacations,” adds ACV president and CEO, Eamonn Ferrin. “We continue to expand our selection of product and services, offering more flights, new routes, new hotels and destinations in our collection.
“This year we celebrated with our largest Sun Collection to date, new direct airlift, and a substantial increase in capacity. This is our way of saying thank you to customers for 35 years of loyalty.”
With flights to over 40 destinations in Mexico and the Caribbean, Air Canada Vacations offers service to more warm-weather locales than any other Canadian tour operator, says Younes, noting, “We have lots of capacity with the launch of rouge [airline].”
2015 was also year of a year both record profits and passengers carried, he continues, adding, “We’ve had a lot of milestones lately!”
