Jamaican ‘All White Affair’ Honours Top-Selling Agents

The Jamaica Tourist Board (JTB) recently rewarded its top selling Jamaica vacation travel agents with a three-night getaway that included tours, world-class dining, golfing, shopping and more.

As part of the JTB’s “A One Love Rewards” travel agent specialist program, the top 50 agents from North America were flown to Jamaica and given the royal treatment at Secrets Resorts in Montego Bay. The vacation concluded with a special “All White Affair” gala where the top selling agents were presented with specially designed artwork by noted Jamaican artist Everald Powell.

Jamaica’s director of tourism Paul Pennicook lauded the group for their commitment to the island’s tourist industry. Deputy director of tourism, US Sales, Donnie Dawson; regional director of tourism for Canada, Philip Rose, and other representatives from the Jamaica Tourist Board were also in attendance to offer their congratulations.

The top 50 agents booked a total of 93,699 room nights, which earned the industry approximately US$25 million. Included in the top three Jamaica Travel Specialists this year was Susan Cianfarani of inStyle Vacations, Canada. Of the top 50 agents, 16 were from Canada, the highest number from any one region.
