Jordan sends a message to its partners

In a message to its partners, the Jordan Tourism Board offered the industry an update on the tourism and travel environment in Jordan following recent regional developments.
The update, from the Chair of the Jordan Tourism Board, indicated that Jordan’s airspace remains open and fully operational. Queen Alia International Airport, along with all other airports across the Kingdom, continues to operate scheduled commercial flights safely and efficiently.
Tourism operations, hospitality services, transportation networks, and visitor experiences continue to function normally throughout the Kingdom, with all major attractions welcoming visitors without disruption.
It also stated that the Jordanian authorities continue to closely monitor regional developments and work in close coordination with international aviation and security partners to ensure the highest standards of safety, security, and operational efficiency for all travellers.
The message also advised that: “We are also pleased to announce that several low-cost airlines are scheduled to resume operations to Jordan starting in October 2026, further strengthening air connectivity and providing visitors with more travel options at competitive fares. This positive development reflects the continued confidence of international airlines and tourism partners in Jordan as a safe, stable, and welcoming destination.”
And it made it clear that: “Jordan remains committed to supporting the recovery and sustainable growth of its tourism sector. Hotels, attractions, transportation providers, and tourism businesses across the Kingdom remain fully prepared to welcome visitors and deliver the exceptional experiences for which Jordan is renowned.”
