Jordan welcomes nearly 300 travel pros for TTAND’s conference

Jordan welcomed 257 Canadian travel experts today for the 10th annual Travel Agent Next Door (TTAND) conference, aimed at bolstering tourism and economic stability this June.

“We are honoured to host TTAND in Jordan. We are excited to show all the TTAND attendees what Jordan has to offer their clients, and introduce them to exceptional Bedouin hospitality,” said Malia Asfour, managing director of the Jordan Tourism Board, North America (JTBNA). “The Canadian market has been a consistent and resilient revenue-generating market for Jordan, and we look forward to welcoming more Canadians as a result. This conference is a testament to our commitment to our partners and to our industry. I would also like to thank our partners for helping facilitate this important gathering.”

Organized by the Jordan Tourism Board North America (JTBNA) in strategic partnership with The Travel Agent Next Door (TTAND) and G Adventures, this event underscores Jordan’s resilience as a safe and enticing destination for travellers. It is also the first time the conference has been held outside of North America.

“Jordan’s selection as the destination for our 2024 conference underscores our unwavering commitment to showcasing diverse and captivating travel experiences,” said Flemming Friisdahl, TTAND’s founder and president. “We are thrilled to celebrate our 10th anniversary in Jordan – our first conference outside of North America – reaffirming our confidence in its tourism potential.”
