JTB, Harmonies of Hope join forces for Hurricane Melissa recovery benefit concert

The Jamaica Tourist Board (JTB) has announced details of a special benefit concert in support of recovery efforts following Hurricane Melissa. Harmonies of Hope is set to ignite an inspiring evening, bringing together music, community, and passion to assist those affected by the hurricane.

The concert will feature acclaimed artists including Shawn Jones, Quisha Wint, Jully Black, Mark Steele, and Renee Rowe, who will perform moving renditions from Bob Marley’s iconic catalog.

Through uplifting music and powerful messages, the event seeks to foster unity and will undoubtedly fill the space with love and a celebration of Jamaica’s resilient spirit and rich cultural heritage.

The benefit concert will take place on: Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at the MERIDIAN ARTS CENTRE | 5040 Yonge St, North York, ON M2N 6R8.

Doors Open: 6:00 PM;  Showtime: 7:00 to 8:30PM; Reception to follow

All proceeds from the concert will support ongoing recovery and rebuilding initiatives in the areas of Jamaica most affected by Hurricane Melissa.

Funds will contribute to infrastructure restoration, community support programs, and the rebuilding of critical services across the island.

Tickets will be available for $150 at Ticketmaster.ca in the coming days.
