Kenya Tourist Board extends registration for Magical Kenya Tourist Expo
The Kenya Tourism Board (KTB) recently wrapped a U.S. roadshow across Los Angeles, San Diego, and San Francisco.
The event, which was held May 27-29, saw more than 200 travel advisors meet with 22 of Kenya’s leading tourism experiences,
including Virgin Hotel’s award-winning Mahali Mzuri and representatives from Narok County, home of the iconic Masai Mara.
“With Kenya enjoying enhanced direct flight connections to North America and travel advisors playing a crucial role in destination selection, our presence in these key metropolitan centers will allow us to strengthen relationships with key stakeholders and make our case on why Kenya should be the destination of choice for discerning travellers,” said KTB CEO
June Chepkemei.
While the U.S. is Kenya’s number one inbound tourism market, with 306,501 American arrivals in 2024, Canadian travel to Kenya is also expected to grow by 49.2% for the 12 months ending June 30, 2025 (50,789 visitors) compared with 34,034 Canadian visitors for the 12 months ending June 30, 2024.
Kenya is excited to see such strong growth from the market, and look forward to welcoming many more Canadians in 2025/26.
Advisors are encouraged to deepen their Kenya expertise through the Magical Kenya Travel Specialist program.
