Lindblad Expeditions Sets Sail With New Itineraries

Lindblad Expeditions has announced two brand-new itineraries aboard the 58-guest Sea Cloud, a 30-sail vessel that blends old-world traditions with modern-day comforts. On these new rarefied journeys, guests will discover the magic of sailing along the stunning coasts of Croatia and Slovenia or to ancient sites in the Western Mediterranean — and the thrill of life under sail on an historic ship.

Sea Cloud harkens back to the golden age of sailing. The four-masted barque, launched in 1931, is sumptuously appointed with the most opulent furnishings, specially chosen by her first owner, socialite Marjorie Merriweather Post. Both itineraries are studded with archaeological landmarks, with sites both legendary and seldom seen. Built into the voyages is Lindblad Expeditions’ pioneering expedition style, designed to balance active exploration with reflection and relaxation — so guests will discover isolated beaches, small fishing villages, welcoming people, and quiet beauty.

The itineraries include: Extraordinary Adriatic: Croatia and Slovenia Under Sail – a 10 day sailing that departs Aug. 17, 2023, with rates from $14,670 per person based on double occupancy in a category 1 cabin; and Sailing the Western Mediterranean: Spain to Corsica which is a 16 day cruise that departs April 19, 2023, with rates beginning at $25,170 per person based on double occupancy in a category 1 cabin.
