LOT Polish Airlines has updated its flight schedule for the 2014 summer season in its booking systems. Changes in the system will be introduced gradually. The summer schedule will be effective beginning March 31, 2014. Daily flights from Toronto, Chicago and New York will operate throughout the season in a fixed evening schedule. Further evening flights will be launched in the months with the greatest passengers demand (May – September).

Beginning April 22 through May 3, LOT will provide five Dreamliner flights between Warsaw and Rome for John Paul II canonization. Tickets are already available for sale at lot.com. LOT currently sells direct flights to Rome from Kracow operated with smaller planes.

The carrier will offer additional frequencies on European flights for the 2014 summer schedule, creating a “second wave” of afternoon flights from Warsaw. The airports benefiting by these new frequencies include Budapest, Prague, Sofia, Bucharest, Belgrade, Moscow, Lviv, Odessa, Vilnius, Riga and Tallinn. Changes in the schedule relating to Copenhagen include additional flights as a result of the aircraft staying overnight six times a week. There will also be additional weekly frequencies to Milan, Stockholm and Brussels. Modifications also provide additional frequencies to Paris, Hamburg and Amsterdam.
