Luxury From French Country Waterways

French Country Waterways has released its 2018 brochure, detailing canal sailings in Burgundy’s Côte d’Or, the Upper Loire, Alsace-Lorraine, and Champagne.

New for 2018, both Champagne and Alsace-Lorraine sailings will now be available all-season long.

The Champagne route takes guests through the Marne Valley, where vast expanses of vineyards are planted with the Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier grapes, two of Champagne’s most important varieties. Guests sailing through Alsace-Lorraine, will explore a region that, though thoroughly French, shows some of its German roots in much of its architecture and will also enjoy dinner at Villa René Lalique, a highly-regarded Michelin two-star restaurant that was added to the itinerary for 2018.
