Making a difference for SickKids at travelbrands 11th Annual Charity Golf Classic

travelbrands’ 11th Annual Charity Golf Classic returned to Eagles Nest Golf Club on Sept. 9, 2026, raising an incredible $644,069.48 in support of SickKids Foundation and making 2026 its biggest fundraising year yet, with the help of a match that doubled every dollar raised.
The event brought together members of the Canadian travel industry for a day of connection, friendly competition and fun, united by a shared commitment to giving back.
And thanks to the generosity of everyone involved, this year’s Golf Classic continued travelbrands’ long-standing tradition of supporting SickKids and the children and families who rely on its care.
Over the years, the travelbrands Charity Golf Classic has grown into a much-anticipated event on the industry calendar and one of the company’s most meaningful fundraising initiatives.
With this year’s contributions, H.I.S. Canada Travel, parent company of travelbrands, and its family of brands have now raised more than $3.6 million for SickKids Foundation through fundraising initiatives, helping support vital research, clinical care and important programs at The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids).
From the first tee to the final celebration, there was no shortage of excitement throughout the day. Guests enjoyed interactive hole activations, an oyster bar, Caesar bar, great food and entertainment, a dramatic helicopter ball drop, plus plenty of opportunities to put their skills to the test and win prizes across the course.
At the heart of the day was the story of this year’s SickKids patient ambassadors, siblings Ethan & Ella, offering a powerful reminder of the children and families behind the fundraising and the impact the travel community can make when it comes together.

Nathalie Tanious, President & CEO of H.I.S. Canada Travel Inc., parent company of travelbrands, observed that: “Every year, I’m blown away by the support we receive for this event. Everyone comes ready to have a great day, but they also come ready to give, and that generosity is what makes the Golf Classic so special.”
And Tanious said: “Thank you to everyone who joined us, donated, sponsored and helped make this year another one to remember. After 11 years, our commitment to SickKids is stronger than ever, and I could not be prouder of what we continue to achieve together.”
travelbrands also extended its sincere thanks to everyone who helped make this year’s Charity Golf Classic possible and to those who supported its broader fundraising efforts throughout the year, including SickKids Day, the annual SickKids Walk and silent auction. Every booking, step, bid and donation has contributed to the collective effort to support SickKids Foundation and the children and families it serves.
And the giving isn’t over yet.
travelbrands will continue its support of SickKids Foundation this holiday season with its annual Holiday Toy Drive, collecting new toys for SickKids patients and families through December 4. The initiative will cap off another year of bringing the travelbrands community together in support of a cause at the heart of the organization.
