Making history: Flair taking off with Edmonton-Saint John non-stop service

Flair Airlines is making Canadian aviation history once again, announcing the first-ever nonstop commercial air service between Edmonton International Airport (YEG) and Saint John Airport (YSJ).
Launching June 15, 2027, the new route will provide the first direct air connection between Edmonton and Saint John, opening new travel opportunities between Western Canada and southern New Brunswick.
Just in time for the summer travel season, the new route will operate twice weekly and will connect two distinct Canadian cities directly for the first time, giving travellers in Alberta and New Brunswick more affordable opportunities to explore the country, visit loved ones and travel for business.
Saint John is one of Edmonton’s largest Atlantic Canadian air travel markets, with most passengers currently connecting through Toronto. Flair’s new service will eliminate that connection, making travel between the two cities easier and opening new opportunities for tourism and business in both directions.
Len Corrado, CEO of Flair Airlines, said that: “Canada has so much to discover, and we want more Canadians to have the opportunity to experience it. We’re proud to be the first airline to connect Edmonton and Saint John nonstop, bringing two great Canadian cities closer together. Whether it’s visiting family, exploring somewhere new or making an important business connection, we’re giving Canadians more opportunities to spend time in the places and with the people who matter most.”
For travellers from Edmonton, Saint John offers a gateway to the Bay of Fundy, historic coastal communities and the natural beauty of southern New Brunswick. Travellers from Saint John can discover Edmonton’s festivals, expansive river valley and easy access to the Canadian Rockies.
The new Edmonton–Saint John service will operate twice weekly, with introductory one-way fares starting at $199 CAD for a limited time in both directions (YEG–YSJ and YSJ–YEG). Flights will be available to book at flyflair.com beginning October 15, 2026.
