Montreal Tour Operator Recognized At Travel South

The efforts of a Canadian tour operator to promote and sell travel programs in the states of the southern USA were recognized at an awards ceremony in Kentucky on Nov. 27, reports Press Today’s Ted Davis, who is attending the event.

Toundra Voyages of Montreal took home one of the awards presented during the Honors Night Celebration at the Travel South USA International Showcase in Louisville, KY.

The award celebrates the contributions of international tour operators who support inbound tourism as a leading sector of the southern US economy, and the South as a top global destination.

On hand to accept the award was Fanny Spanu, the purchase and product manager for Toundra Voyages. The company markets a variety of multi-day programs to cities and tourist destinations in the south-eastern US, as well as to states in the north-east and in the western reaches of America.

The Travel South USA International Showcase marketplace is ongoing this week at the Omni Louisville Hotel until Nov. 29.
