Moon Palace resort adds ‘dolphinarium’

Palace Resorts – which has five-star, all-inclusive resorts on Mexico’s Caribbean coast – has added a “dolphinarium”at the Moon Palace Golf & Spa Resort. Part of the resort’s multi-million dollar enhancement project, the attraction is managed by trainers from Dolphin Discovery, members of the International Marine Animal Trainers Association, with facilities in Isla Mujeres, Cozumel, Puerto Aventuras and throughout the Caribbean. The attraction will allow guests to safely swim and interact with eight dolphins, in a saltwater aquarium. Guests can use the Palace Resorts $1,500 Resort Credit offer to book this new activity. Starting at $129 p.p., visitors to Dolphin Discovery will participate in a 15-minute orientation followed by an adventure under the supervision of trainers who will assure a fun-filled 40-minute experience. Available up to five times a day for 10 to 15 guests at a time, visitors will participate in an educational program where they learn about the mammals before suiting up with a life jacket, goggles and snorkel to engage in activities with the dolphins that range from belly rides to feedings. Children under eight years old must be accompanied by an adult. (http://www.PalaceResorts.com)
